Microdermabrasion with Hydration
Microdermabrasion works by removing the outermost layer of your skin. This helps your skin to slough off dead skin cells, while improving fine lines, scars and sun damage. It also gives your skin a smoother texture and even tone.
There are numerous types of microdermabrasion treatments.
Usually, microdermabrasion is done by jets that blast very fine particles onto your face, which loosens hardened skin cells. Crystal dermabrasion blasts your skin with crystal particles that are microscopic. Diamond microdermabrasion treatments employ a diamond head that lightly abrades the surface of the skin. Organic microdermabrasion is done with a medical grade baking soda or specific milled grains. These are more gentle on sensitive skin. A hand piece vacuums up the stripping agent and loose skin particles both during and after the microdermabrasion treatment.
The treatments are usually tolerated well and are comparable to a deeper exfoliation. After treatment, your skin might feel hot and look a bit red, but this normally goes away in just a few hours. It is recommended that you receive a course of 6 microdermabrasion treatments to improve skin problems such as age or liver spots. However, 2-3 treatments may work wonders for blemish and blocked pores.
